NYFW Style Report: J. Mendel

I am speechless. And not necessarily by the styling of this collection. I loved the dresses and the luxurious feel to them but I can't for the life of me understand why on Earth would someone pair them with those ugly knee-high boots (Case in point the gorgeous burgundy dress with heavy beading that took my breath away- until I noticed the boots- or the blue dress, or the red one, or every other dress in the runway!). Overall, I liked the collection though obviously I would have styled it differently. The fabrics are luxe, the patterns a breath of fresh air and the colors rich.
