Golden Globes 2014

I owe you my take on each of the dresses below and I need to adjust some things so all of them look big enough, but for now, here are some of my favorites (and my not-so-favorites) looks of this year's Golden Globes

Mila Kunis in Gucci Premiere was one of my favorite red carpet moments, this dress is just stunning!
Julie Bowen wearing Carolina Herrera. I'm kind of torn here, I absolutely love her hair and make up, she looks doubtlessly flawless from the neck up. On the other hand, I can't make up my mind about the dress but I do applaud her for taking a risk.

Amy Adams in Valentino was breath-taking, j'adore her hair, it's just so fresh and beautiful, and it was a wise choice to keep the make up simple enough for the dress to take front stage. Goog for you Amy, you knocked it out of the park

Sofia Vergara in Zac Posen. I don't know, I can't say this is ugly because it's not, but I just don't think this big ball gown works on her, it's just too much, and I love when she wears bright colors. So, please Sofia, go back to fitter gowns and brighter colors!

Kate Beckinsale wore Zuhair Murad and all I have to say is: doesn't this woman ever age? Look at her! She looks totally amazing, there's nothing I can criticize about this. Bravo Kate, you sure know how to rock the red carpet

The lovely Emma Watson wore this weird-looking Dior Couture gown and I'm so dissappointed. She is hands down one of the most gorgeous starlets in Hollywood, I can't for the life of me understand WHY she would chose to wear this. If it had been a dress it would've been amazing (that back is H-O-T), and don't even get me started on those BLUE shoes, I mean what?

Michelle Dockery in Oscar de la Renta was one of my favorite looks of the red carpet. That embroidery is just wow-worthy.

Jennifer Lawrence in (shocker) Dior was underwhelming and that dark make up is not helping her. Also, I think her previous haircut would've looked much better than this Miley Cyrus-y look. Too bad the gown wasn´t a light shade of pink, it would've been amazingly beautiful with that black bands and clutch.
Lupita Nyong'o (did I spell it right?) is here to stay, or at least that what I hope for after this amazing Ralph Lauren look. She looks like she's been walking red carpets ever since she was born, her choice couldn't have been more accurate. It's simple yet very chic and that color looks incredible on her skin tone. Congrats to this newcomer!

Olivia Wilde (and her cute as hell baby bump) made an appeareance in Gucci and it couldn't have been more perfect. She looked great from top to bottom, nothing to say about her except people should not be allowed to look this great.

Rashida Jones wearing Fausto Puglisi was a breath of fresh air, I think she looked awesome and her hair, though not my favorite hairstyle of the night, was a fun twist. I look forward to see more of what this designer has to offer because my first impression of his work was great.

Ms. Taylor Swift wore Carolina Herrera and what can I say about this girl? She's always flawless and this wasn't the exception. That color is incredible and it looks great on her, plus that black boddess was the perfect way to prevent the gown from being too fluffy. The only thing I would modify is the hem line, it's a bit too long, but other than that, way to go Tay!

I'm back (for good, hopefully)

I know I've been M.I.A recently and I apologize to you, it's just that I couldn't pos any pictures and let's face it, me talking about fashion without being able to actually show you fashion is kind of pointless. So, now that the issue has been resolved, I promise to catch up on what I've been missing. I will not post the Spring/Summer collections for NY Fashion Week because I feel like it happened a lifetime ago. However, I will make it up to you by posting my take on the fashion shown in this award season, starting with the Golden Globes. I hope you didn't abandon me for good, XOXO
