Style Report: Oscars

I had to take a week off before I could post this, simply to get over the fact that Les Mis didn't win Best Picture. I loved Argo, I really did but.. just.. it's Les Mis people! Okay, so maybe I didn't quite get over it yet (and I don't think I ever will). Nevertheless, I owed you guys my opinion on the Oscar fashion. I'm just going to post my favorites, so no mean comments this time. Annie darling (Hathaway that is, we're intimates so I get to call her Annie), I love you beyond rational explanation but your dress didn't get you in my list this year, hope it motivates you into doing better next year!

Kerry Washington in Miu Miu was a breath of fresh air. Simple, yet beautiful, the Django Unchained star brought a pop of color to the red carpet.

Halle Berry in Marchesa was a show-stopper. Does this woman never age? Though, Halle, you should seriously consider getting a new haircut, we've seen you in this one for much too long.

Naomi Watts in Armani Privé is the only woman in this list who was actually nominated for an Oscar- and knew how to dress the part. Congrats N, you have my stamp of approval

Sandra Bullock in Elie Saab was just flawless.  I am a huge fan of Elie Saab and you can see why in this picture, it's the perfect balance between sexy and sophisticated. On the other hand Sandy, your hair would've looked much better in a messy bun like Naomi Watts', and that clutch is getting on my nerves, just throw it away please.

Jane Fonda wearing Versace was one of the highlights of the night. This woman is getting younger every time I see her, could that be? Learn from her young Hollywood starlets, and start adding more color to your red carpet looks. Black is NOT the new black.

Last but not least, Stacy Kiebler -aka the woman who stole Clooney from us- in  Naem Khan.  I love this dress and the way it flatters her figure, though the hair is absolutely wrong for anyone for this dress. Anyway, no matter how much we criticize the way she looks, she gets to walk around with George Clooney's stamp of approval...
